The Sweet Brag Tour

The Devil Wears Prada has announced a major headlining tour for spring '09! The Sweet Brag Tour will run from March 14th to May 1st, with support from A Day To Remember, Sky Eats Airplane and Emarosa.

The Devil Wears Prada has been busy writing for their upcoming new album, With Roots Above And Branches Below. The record is set to be released sometime this spring. Vocalist Mike Hranica says, "We’re really excited for this album. It’s definitely going to be darker, heavier, and more epic. Expect a much heavier, more metal record."

A Day To Remember's latest, Homesick, is set to launch them into the big time. Homesick grabs listeners by the hand, tearing full-throttle into an unforgettable ride through gang vocals, sing-a-long choruses and crushing breakdowns. "[Homesick] represents what we've been through, what's ahead of us and the lessons we’ve learned in between," states bassist Josh Woodard.

Given their history, Sky Eats Airplane's sophomore album is, in a sense, the band's first. "We want this album to be the epitome of what people think of when they hear our name," guitarist Lee explains as the reasoning behind deciding on a self-titled album. "We want to establish this as our sound; this is what we think great music sounds like."

Emarosa's debut full-length, Relativity, is melodic with a dynamic and technical interlocking of instruments; perfectly blending ambient rock with post-hardcore aggression. And the band has a new secret weapon: vocalist Jonny Craig, whose soulful and emotive voice adds a sincere but upbeat energy. With soaring vocals and technical guitar work throughout the album, only one word can truly describe the sound: "epic."
